Welcome to the website for the Norfolk Militia (Heritage Regiment) Re-Enactment Group. We are pleased to put this online offering up for those interested in history, re-enacting and generally a good time!
The Norfolk Militia Re-Enactors are based in Ontario, Canada and take part in re-enactments in Canada and the United States. We are pleased to represent the living history of North America in the nineteenth century.

The coordinator of a film needs help with "two non-profit documentaries on the history of Elgin and Oxford Counties, and we are holding a re-enactment weekend on July 31st - August 1st at Fanshawe Pioneer Village to re-enact ... local events". The new servers are going GANGBUSTERS and hits and interest are at an ALL TIME HIGH!
The "Upper Canadian Heritage Sites" have taken off and people like them... they REALLY like them!
I've added a new, public (not-just-for-Norfolkers) thing that I think will be both useful and interesting... I've called it "Ye Olde Woolen Blanket" and it's FREE online classified ads for anyone "online" who wishes to buy, sell, or announce anything to the re-enactment or living history communities. You can expect two more "add-ons" and announcements about the new servers in the next week or two as well!

I, y'r humble webmaster, wish to say an ENORMOUS "Thank You" to Robyn Kennedy for her photo of the musicians in shadow (click here to see the original "raw" image) which has made it's way to the banner we use and soon some other places... so if you notice, on some of the graphics that get done as of now that include this photo, a small "RK" on them, that's a thanks to Robyn for this beautiful image.
