Georgina Pioneer Village is located in Keswick, Ontario at 26557 Civic Road. The museum can be reached at (905) 476-4305 (and please ask for extension 284).

Directions: From Toronto go north on Highway 404 to Green Lane in Newmarket. Turn right on to Green Lane and go east to Woodbine Avenue. Turn left at the lights at Woodbine and go north on Woodbine to Keswick. Follow Woodbine as it curves into Baseline Road and go east to Civic Centre Road. Turn left on to Civic Centre Road and go north to the entrance to the Civic Centre and Georgina Pioneer Village.

The Georgina Pioneer Village is located about 50 minutes north of Toronto, 40 minutes east of Barrie and one hour west of Peterborough.

Please note: Donations to the museum are greatly appreciated!



Public transit is available via GO Transit, but please check schedules and departure dates for this service as they are subject to changes without notice. Also note that you may need to "hike" to the village from the GO stop in Keswick. Again, please contact us either at the phone number above or at lakesimcoe@uppercanadianheritage.com which will be received by Ninette Gyorody and J.Bruce Whittaker who are the fine folks responsible for this event.



If you are driving, there is plenty of parking at the site. If more information is needed, contact lakesimcoe@uppercanadianheritage.com



We are still waiting for information about toilet facilities, food service (for the public), and other information. This will be added to this site as it's available.



Please Note: The Georgina Pioneer Village staff and management are NOT responsible for any injury or loss sustained at this event. Please be safe and secure and follow any safety instructions from the staff and re-enactors. We are also not responsible for any items or purchases made through the historic merchants or "Sutlers" and must point out that any purchase made through these merchants is not protected by the staff and management of the Georgina Pioneer Village.
